Sword was the sharpest weapon invented....before they saw the power of pen.

A notable difference between a good resume and an outstanding one is the usage of impact words. Words have meaning and power. Words can make or break a relationship. Similarly, your choice of words in your resume could open or shut the interview door for you. Therefore, it is recommended to use words that make an impact on the mind of the reader. If you could manage to communicate your contributions well, interview call is almost guaranteed. Most of the recruiters love these words while hiring finance professionals and if you use these words, the recruiter can’t ignore you.

So without further ado, let’s look at some of the words that you can use in your resume.

What do you think of this post? Let me know your opinion, feedback, questions. If you have any other words to add to the list, please free to comment. I may feature it on the list.

By the way, this is not an exhaustive list of words that you can use. There could be more words. However, you don’t have to search for them. I will keep updating this page as I find them. So bookmark this page for your future references. For now, you can use these words and get started.I hope this list gives you an indication of words to use. If you notice, the popular words such as ‘responsible’ or ‘communicator’ are not part of powerful words. This is because these words are overused and are pretty much part of most of the resume. Recruiters are so tired to see these words that nowadays they don’t prefer to read the entire line.
